I Like Plants :)

I find taking care of plants really relaxing. It's like raking one of those mini zen gardens. You're not really working, you're just playing with some sand in a small box, but the task makes you feel satisfied, like in a meditative state. That's why I don't take pictures of my plants with my good camera (the DSLR I use for astrophotography), with all those knobs and buttons, nor my phone, with the distractions and the stupid touchscreen that never works quite right, I use a small point and shoot, a low quality gadget perfect for just taking the picture and forgeting about it. And not only that. I don't think mine in particular creates photos, as in faithful representations of the real world, the compressed 240 pixel resolution jpeg that comes out of the camera can barely be considered a photo, but, for me, it's more like a memory, blurry and out of focus, carrying an emotion. Having said that, yes, it's a piece of crap and I would trade it for a better point and shoot any day of the week.

I recommend you listen to "plantasia", it's a great album both for you and for your plants.
